1.5" wide - High-quality enamel pin by Eagle River Designs, brings North America's most popular wildlife to life!

The Great Egret, a member of the heron family, is distinguishable by its white feathers, yellow spear-like bill and black legs and feet. An adult Egret's wingspan can reach over 50 inches. Egret nests, often built solely by the male, are often high up in trees and may harbor as many as 5 or 6 eggs. In breeding season, both male and female exhibit long plumes on their backs and a patch of skin on their face turns neon green.
