1.25" wide - High-quality enamel pin by Eagle River Designs, brings North America's most popular wildlife to life!

The Snowy Owl is the northernmost, heaviest and most easily recognized owl in North America. Standing 20-28 inches tall with a wingspan of 50-57 inches, females are slightly larger than males. Young males have dark brown barring that eventually fades to pure white when mature; females maintain heavily barred markings throughout their lives. Diurnal by nature, a single Snowy Owl can consume 1,600 lemmings in one year.
