Lake Erie Beach Glass Jewelry

What is beach glass? This glass was once litter that was discarded (either intentionally or accidentally) into our waters and found its way into Lake Erie. The power of the lake has tumbled the glass into its current smooth, frosted state.

About the Artist:

The artist originally began collecting beach glass while her fiance was deployed in Afghanistan. Walking beaches along Lake Erie shoreline became her hobby as a way to unwind from the stresses of life. She started collecting glass, shells and lucky stones along with litter in the form of shotgun shells, balloons and plastic. Recycling and upcycling have become important parts of her life.
