Recent Sightings at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge

Recent Sightings Data
Whether you are planning a trip to the refuge and interested in what has been seen lately, or if you are looking for an overall big picture of what species of birds are found in our area, look no further! Our eBird widget shows which species have been viewed at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, the numbers that were seen, and the date/time. This list provides 15 days of bird reports.

We also have monthly census data in the spreadsheet below from the past several years. You can scroll up and down to see previous years and scroll to the left and right to see the full bird list. The far right column shows how many species there were seen on the monthly bird census for the selected month.

You're invited!
Join a refuge volunteer and become a citizen scientist for the Monthly Census, held the first Sunday of each month at 8:00 am. Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather. Meet at the trail head parking area. Call 419-898-0014 with questions.
