Scholarship Information
Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who:
1. Plan to pursue a degree in environmental science, natural resources, or conservation related field at an accredited college or university.
2. Reside or attend school in Ottawa County or Lucas County, Ohio.
3. Achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average in high school.
Scholarships may be used for tuition, fees, books, personal protective equipment, tools, instruments, field equipment, etc.
How to Apply

How to Apply
- Fill out the application and mail it along with the following items:
- Official school transcripts
- 500 word essay describing why you chose a path in conservation and what your goals are for the future.
- 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher, community service leader, or coach.
The scholarship is sponsored by Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, a 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting the conservation mission of Ohio's only national wildlife refuge complex.
