What happens when the lake floods? Why do so many people come here to look at birds? Why are algae blooms such a big problem?

These questions and so many more will be answered on the Refuge Shoreline Cruise Friday, August 24, 2018. US Fish and Wildlife Staff will be on board the Jet Express as we view critical marshland habitat from Port Clinton to Bono, Ohio from Lake Erie.

The focus area will include Metzger Marsh, Ottawa NWR, the Navarre Unit (Davis Besse Nuclear Power Station), and the Darby Unit (near Camp Perry.)

Hors-d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available on board.
Parking fees for the Jet Express lot are waived for cruise guests upon exit.

****Online Registration closes August 18, 2018 at 11:59PM. To check ticket availability after that date, please call 419-898-0014 x13.****
