West Sister Island Rookery Cruise
Saturday, May 16, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the May 16, 2020 West Sister Island Rookery Cruise due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is something that we all look forward to each year as a fun way to raise funds for conservation work at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge and it hurts to let it go.

Refund Information
We will be processing a full refund to you for your ticket price and any additional donation you made towards the event. Tickets purchased from our website will be automatically refunded - you don't have to do anything except be patient. Our online registration company, Network for Good is handling a lot of event cancellations and refunds right now, and they assure us that refunds will be processed though it may take a couple of weeks.  If you purchased a ticket in our Nature Store or over the phone, we will be calling you at the number listed at the time of purchase to process your refund manually.

With the cancellation of the cruise and our Nature Store being closed for the foreseeable future, the financial loss for Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge this year will be significant. If you are willing to donate back a portion of your cruise ticket fee to us, your support would be greatly appreciated. We exist to support conservation in the Lake Erie marshes, and your support now can make sure that we get back on track after this setback.  As Friends of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, your donations are tax deductible.

Stay safe and thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
